We would like to honor Audie Vickers and celebrate his retirement! Audie was one of the best to ever do it, and we were grateful to have him on our team. Not only did he make many of the toughest, tightest, and gnarliest parts we have ever made, but he also kept us rolling as our super maintenance resource. He had an amazing talent for solving problems, fixing our machinery, and keeping thing running.
Everyone who knew Audie would sing his praises, and every talented machinist who met Audie would praise his programming skills, along with his other talents! He had a gift for programming, and he did it using only a CAD program and notepad. It was simply amazing how he could put his macros and other code together to handle complicated tool paths.
We were blessed to have Audie on our team for over fifteen years. He will be missed. Let’s wish him all the best in his retirement!
